Teen drug overdose is a serious and growing concern that has hit an exponential spike in the last 5 years. The pressures of adolescence, coupled with easy access to substances, pose a significant threat to the health and safety of our young people. Prevention is key, and by proactively implementing measures to deter drug use on school premises, we can ensure a positive and secure educational experience for all students.

At Charon K9, we are dedicated to fostering a secure learning environment for students and staff by employing cutting-edge canine detection techniques and working collaboratively with educational institutions. We do this by utilizing highly trained drug-sniffing dogs to detect and prevent the presence of illicit substances and weaponry.

Our commitment extends beyond mere detection, as we strive to actively prevent the occurrence of drug-related incidents, with a focus on mitigating the risk of school drug overdoses. Through our professional and ethical approach, we aim to support schools in creating drug-free/weapon free spaces that promote the health, safety, and academic success of all individuals within the educational community.

Our Safety dogs have been trained in a variety of environments and are absolutely safe & friendly with students while still maintaining their focus to work effectively. Our dogs and handlers are able to work during school hours and having the visibility of our Safety Team on campus is a huge piece of the deterrence. We do not want students nor faculty to be afraid of our teams, we want to be a positive presence and help everyone feel safe on campus.

With that being said, any paraphernalia found on the premises will be immediately notified and handed to the designated school attendant of your choosing. We will in no way provide any disciplinary actions, as we believe that it is up to school administrators. We simply aid schools in the discovery and removal of substances that put your students and faculty at risk.
